Yusha is the unused male playable character in Monster World IV.
Description[]
Originally, the player was going to have a choice to choose between a male or female character, but it was ultimately scrapped in favor of the female lead, Asha. He's normally seen wielding a large axe. It is unknown what relation Yusha would have had to the characters in the original game.
Trivia[]
- Yūsha is the official translation of his name while Eusha is the corruption of it. It is the Japanese word for brave or hero (勇者,yūsha).
- Yusha's sprites were reworked and used for one of the Sky Dwellers.
- It was revealed that if the Westone team had more space during the development cycle, they would have kept him in the game.
- It has been hinted that Yusha may make a return in a possible sequel to Monster World IV!
- A character gender selection would not be seen until much later in the 2017 remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap with Wonder Girl.
