Scorpions only appear in the Sega Master System version of the game. They run around quickly in the desert stage.
Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair[]
Scorpions reappear in the game. They have the moving ability from the previous game except they can also shoot a projectile from their stingers.
Wonder Boy in Monster World[]
Scorpions appear as enemies that can be found in the Maugham Desert. They are bigger than they were in the previous games.
