Rats (ラット Ratto) are a recurring enemy the Wonder Boy and Monster World series.
Appearances[]
Wonder Boy in Monster Land[]
They come in two variants: Were Rat (Allee Rat) and Master Rat (Rat Master). They run very quickly at the player and the Master Rats take more hits than Were Rats. Were Rats are worth 500 points while Master Rats are worth 800.
Monster World IV[]
They appear in the Sky Castle and will jump at Asha when they are within a decent range. When she goes through the Magic Gate, they are giant and will always drop a giant heart.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom[]
They are found within The Sewers and will walk around before stopping for a while. Then can be stunned with a pound attack and take four hits to be defeated.
