Pompous Lady is a character in Monster World IV and Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World. She is the richest person in Rapadagna and will pay Asha handsomely if she happens to have any Gold Bars (Ingots) in her inventory. The amount she pays depends on how far the game's plot has progressed. She has three, yellow Pepelogoos named Pey, Pii and Puh.

- You could sell the Pompous Lady her own gold bar in the original game via the one in the treasure chest upstairs.
- You can no longer explore the second layer of the Pompous Woman's home in the remake.
- In the sketches of her original design, her name was "Arrogant Lady".
