Maugham Desert, known in Japanese as the Mam Desert (マーム砂漠 Māmu Sabaku), is the area that lies far to the east of Purapril City. The area is incredibly hot, so adventurers must enter at their own risk. In order to pass the desert without, Shion must acquire the Oasis Boots from Poseidon who lies at the Undersea Shrine. Further east lies the Pyramid where the quiz-loving Sphinx resides.
Note: Failing to have the boots in the desert will rapidly deplete the player's life meter.
