Koot Croob is an unused character from Monster World IV. She is a mermaid whose role was a love interest for the main character, who at the time was Yusha. She sings at a lighthouse in the harbor town of Jabafam. She would follow Eusha around in her human form. However if you play as Asha, she adores her for saving her life.
