Knights (ナイト Naito) are recurring enemies from the Monster World series.
Appearances[]
Wonder Boy in Monster Land[]
Knights appear as bosses. They appear in three different variants: Red Knight, Blue Knight and Silver Knight. They are worth 3000, 4000 and 5000 points respectively. They all share a common weakness, which makes them strike their swords while falling to the ground.
The Sega Master System version of the game has smaller versions of Red Knight and Blue Knight that appear as enemies, Mini-Red Knight and Mini-Blue Knight.
Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair[]
Knights appear as enemies. They only appear in the thirteenth stage in the arcade version. They fly in a wave pattern and shoot their fists if the player is close to them. Also the boss in the stage is a giant Knight named Armor King.
Wonder Boy in Monster World[]
Knight Master (ナイトマスター[1]) is a tall knight armed with a sword and shield that is holding Shiela Purapril hostage in the Underground Waterway. As Knight Master's shield can block most of Shion's attacks, the most effective way of damaging Knight Master is by crouching to attack the feet.
Knights appear as enemies in the Dark World, protecting the path to the Nightmare Castle. They are short, fully armored but unarmed knights that can only attack by jumping on trespassers.
Other versions[]

- In Bikkuriman World, the Knights are replaced with Wonder Maria (ワンダーマリア).
- In Saiyūki World, the Knights remain the same except they have different appearances (except for the Silver Knight, which was changed to a bronze knight).

- In Super Adventure Island, the Knights are replaced with a Treant (トレント). The first and third Treant bosses have spikes in their rooms, while the second boss has springs.
