King Leonidas is the current ruler of Monster World in the time period of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. In the beginning of the game, he is cursed and turned into a lion. His wife, Rachel was transformed into a hippo.
When he encounters Jin for the first time, he doesn't believe his story about Mysticat being the reason behind everything bad that has happened in Monster World recently and sends him to the dungeon to be dealt with by Mysticat.
