The Ice Castle is the fifth dungeon in Wonder Boy in Monster World. The entire area is very slippery and it is wise for Shion to equip the Ceramic Boots to avoid doing so.
In order to get to the boss lair, the player must locate and secure two magical gems (Blue Gem and Gold Gem) and place them at their slots to unlock the door. Defeating the Ice Bomber will reward the player with the Old Axe, which was requested to retrieve by the Elder Dragon.
