Hotta (ホッタ hotta) is a recurring character in the Wonder Boy series.
Description[]
In Wonder Boy in Monster World, he is the dwarf girl's little brother that assists Shion while he is in Lilypad and nearby areas. He joins Shion after he rescues him from the tribesmen. Hotta does not fight, but he can find secret entrances in dungeons. Hotta is required to enter the Ruins and to find one of the Hearts.
In Monster World IV, it is revealed that after the events of Monster World III. Hotta was tasked by Shion to protect Monster World from the dark ones as the Sun Spirit. He is trapped by the Ice Wizard and later rescued by Asha.
Trivia[]
- Hotta has a book in the library of Monster World IV called "Hotta's Adventure". When Asha reads it, it makes her sad.
