The Frog is an enemy from the Wonder Boy and Monster World series.

Wonder Boy/ Wonder Boy Returns[]
Frogs appear as enemies. Their behavior depends on their color coding. Green ones will hop within range, while gray ones don't hop at all. In Adventure Island, they are named Kellos.
Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap[]
Frogs reappear as Giant Toads. They behave like how they do in Wonder Boy except they bounce along the ground three times before standing still. They appear in three colors: Red, Green and Blue.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom[]
Frogs reappear as enemies and behave the same as the first Wonder Boy game but they can also use their tongues to attack. They can be defeated by snake venom.
