Fish are recurring enemies from the Wonder Boy and Monster World series.
Appearances[]
Wonder Boy[]
Fish only appear as Small Fish in the Master System version of the game. They jump out of water moving up and down.
Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair[]
Fish appear in the first stage of the game, and the boss is an enormous fish named Uroconda. Also there are slightly bigger variants of them in Stage 11 (8 in the Genesis version) which hop from the water.
Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap[]
Fish reappear as Giant Fish. They will attempt to swim to Book if he gets close to them. They appear in three different colors: Red, Green and Blue.
Wonder Boy in Monster World[]
While Fish do not physically appear in Wonder Boy in Monster World, a similar enemy called Uroconda Shot (ウロコンダショット) appears in the game.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom[]
Fish swim back and forth horizontally and jump at Jin if he's within range.
