Asha (アーシャ Āsha) is the protagonist from Monster World IV and Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World.
Description[]
She is a young girl from Estafan Village that goes to Rapadagna City to become a warrior. After receiving the title of warrior from the Queen, she requests Asha to save the four spirits that protect Monster World. During her quest, she gains a blue Pepelogoo that assists her, and learns that the spirits were sealed by Four Wizards that are attempting to use the Pepelogoos to control the people. Asha and her Pepelogoo managed to stop their plans and she is titled as a hero.
Trivia[]
- The name Asha is primarily a female name of Indian origin that means Hope Or Wish. Also means "Life" in Swahili.
- She also striking resemble Lyndis, commonly known as Lyn, from Fire Emblem series.
- Asha appears in a stained glass from Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, alongside Boy, Book and Shion.
- If the player is able to reach 99% completion before defeating Lord Xaros in Monster Boy, the ending will include an extra image of Pepe being reunited with Asha.
- It has been confirmed by Game Atelier and FDG Entertainment that Asha is alive in Monster Boy's timeline, which could lead to a possible sequel with her being involved somehow. It is unknown how many years after Monster World IV in which Monster Boy takes place, but the developers have said it is "up to imagination".
- Asha's "secret of the treasure chest butt shake" animation used to be an animation for looking into a keyhole.
