Alsedo, the Fairy Village, known in Japanese as Alseid, the Fairy Village (妖精の村 アルセイド Yōsei no Mura Aruseido), is a location that lies far to the east of the Coast area. In the world map, it is shown to be on an island to the west of Purapril Castle. Its inhabitants are all fairies. When Shion traveled here, his task was to defeat the Myconids who had been terrorizing the village.
On his journey, Shion meets up with Eleanora, queen of the fairies, and she grants him the permission for her most-trusted servant, Priscilla to aid him in stopping the Myconids.
Deep within the forest is a dungeon, which hosts the Myconid's boss. However, the doors have been sealed by magical barriers. To unseal them, Shion must play the Ocarina at the altars within the dungeon. However, he must first learn the tunes from Sonia, who is the Ocarina's owner. After clearing the dungeon, the queen reveals a path to the Underground Waterway.
Layout[]
The village has four buildings and two statues in the center.
The first building is the inn, which costs 10 Gold per night.
The second building is Kishera (キシェラ), a weapon shop that sells a Wood Shield for 70 Gold, a Small Spear for 80 Gold, and a Chain Mail for 50 Gold.
The third building is the residence of Sonia, a fairy that teaches Shion how to find Queen Eleanora, where to find the Ocarina, and how to play it. After talking with Sonia, Eleanora's Realm can be accessed by pressing up between the two statues in the center of the village.
The fourth building is Felissimo (フェリシモ), a shop that sells medicine for 10 Gold.
Other versions[]
- In The Dynastic Hero, Alsedo is known as the Village of Fairies, Lindor (フェアリーナ Fearīna, roughly "Fairyna" or "Faeriena" in Japanese). The shops Kishera and Felissimo have the same names in the Japanese version, but in English Kishera was not named and Felissimo was changed to Shima Drugstore.
- Alsedo is known as Alegria, a vila feliz ("Joy, the happy village") in Turma da Mônica na Terra dos Monstros.
